TSD SPH

The TSD SPH features a spherical stylus, as they were generally in use before 1980. This design can produce excellent results on early stereo LPs.

To connect the Tonedose with the tonearm, the following options are available to choose from:

    EMT (Standard)

    Option X (SME compatible)

    Option INT (Ortofon A compatible)

Impedance

On request, the generators can be manufactured with customized connection values in order to be compatible with a specific step-up-transformers.

    Standard-coil: 24 Ohm – 1.00mV @5cm/s

    1/2-coil: 12 Ohm – 0.50mV @5cm/s

    1/4-coil: 6 Ohm – 0.25mV @ 5cm/s

Coil material

All Tonedose products are generally delivered with a coil made of high-purity copper. The following coils are optionally available for a surcharge:

    Silver – for clear and refined sound character

    Gold – for rich and colorful sound character
